Not what i expected
Another well written story from Richelle Mead. I was in the mood for something silly and fun. A light book about dresses, suitors, and getting married.
This story has many twists and turns, and had me so interested I read it in a weekend. Some of the Twists you see coming a mile away, some surprised me.
I had expected a story about dances and flirtations in the shrewd pursuit of a husband. There was a bit of that, but the story was a bit more. If you are expecting The Vampire Academy, you will be upset. This book completely hit the spot for what I wanted. An easy read, with more calories than necessary. If great literature is Vegetables: they sustain your body and soul. This book was your favorite potato chips: yummy, salt, but you shouldn't expect to survive on them.
