Forever, Jack: eversea book two by Natasha Boyd

4.0

I received an eARC of this book as a contest winner.

I want to say upfront that I LOVED Eversea and I was really looking forward to reading Forever, Jack! I was also somewhat on edge and went into reading it with some trepidation. It seems all too often these days sequels fall flat. I have made the comment on more than one occasion that such-and-such sequel never should have been written....a few more chapters at the end of the first book would have sufficed. Many sequels feel, to me, that they are simply published because the first one went over so well. They seem forced and have very little story line. And I want to say right away that Forever, Jack is NOT one of those sequels!!!

I love Jack. Can I get my very own Jack Eversea? And Keri Ann.....she's so human. She's so normal. She doesn't see stars when she sees Jack (well, she does, but not like everybody else in the free world does!) and she's not going to sacrifice herself to be with him. I loved that about her! And Jack...well, if you've read Eversea you know what Jack is like!

This is a fabulous sequel! I can't wait to see what else Natasha Boyd publishes in the years to come!
