The story of two young lovers one of whom isn’t aware of his sexuality is a classic. The character development slightly breeches the surface and the storyline becomes a bit predictable in the middle - but there were many times where I was taken by surprise.

I felt the ending was rushed and either not well thought out or slimmed down upon writing. I will read the second installment as I’m interested to see the story from Tim’s perspective and how the two books intertwine with each other. Perhaps continuing the series would make me feel otherwise about the ending.

Overall not a bad book and a good introduction to gay romance if it’s a genre one is interested in.
