Harbingers by F. Paul Wilson

5.0

Jack is Back !!!!! I was a bit worried when I read the 9th installment of the Repairman Jack series,to put it mildly .....it sucked. Needless to say I was a bit leary to pick up # 10 of the series, even though 1-8 were awesome,# 9 just was not good....... at all. Then came the fateful day, while perusing Borders I saw that Harbingers was out in paperback. After a few minutes of arguing with myself whether I wanted to continue the series or not,I picked it up. It found it's way home with me that night, still to sit upon my shelf for a month while I read other things. I started it on Friday night, and finished it last night. I actually did not get to sleep until 2 A.M. because I was sooo absorbed in finding out what was going to happen.I was not disappointed, F.Paul Wilson knew what the heck he was doing with this one (even if he didn't with # 9 imho). Although, now that I have read Harbingers I can see what he was trying to do (through a very dirty smudged glass) I can not wait to see what he does with #11. Alas,I have to,it does not come out in paperback until October 08.I am sure I can keep myself busy with other books until that time.
