I really enjoyed In the Lives of Puppets. It is definitely a shift in reading and understanding if you are not used to sci-fo/robots as characters but I found them really charming. I see some people talk about how the humor didn’t work for them but I found the stark contrast between Nurse Ratchet and Rambo to work perfectly.

There was such emotion about finding happiness and discovery in the beginning, that the adventure in the middle seemed a bit out of place. But I really felt for the characters in this book more than I expected based on some other review.
