The Lost World by Michael Crichton

adventurous dark reflective tense medium-paced

3.0

I didn't enjoy this one as much as Jurassic Park, unfortunately. The plot here was much more nebulous, which led to a lot of tension without a lot of payoff. The action wasn't driven forward in the same way, and the questions weren't as interesting. All in all, a bit of a let down, though I did enjoy the character of Sarah Harding and the two kids, Kelly and Arby—it was refreshing to have different personalities playing off of Ian Malcolm and Richard Levine (two very esoteric characters).
