Did not finish book. Stopped at 16%.
This book lost me at ‘You’re know how he gets when he loses a job.’ No normal teenager leaves home at 15. The father is an emotionally abusive narcissist who can’t hold down a job. His son isn’t a mini-me and dad’s ego can’t take it. Rather than protect her child, mom enables her shitty husband scapegoating her son. IDGAF how popular or buzzy this book is. I’m done.
