The fourth book of a wonderful series takes you through the travels of Ayla and Jondalar. Auel’s masterful descriptions of setting are the forefront of this novel making it a slower read than the first three. It starts off slow but gains life as their travels continue. I am excited to continue reading about their journeys.
Moderate: Rape, Sexual content, Slavery, Torture, Medical content, and Kidnapping
