i saw this book recommended on tiktok and thought it sounded so cool. it ended up being so painstakingly average. i didn’t really feel tension between sebastian and gracie, but i also didn’t not feel tension? the fact that they were both in their 30’s really showed in the way they texted and talked to each other. it just didn’t really appeal to me. i wasn’t bored per se, it was easy to read on, but nothing ever really happened. the book was so short and i felt like it was missing so much, the story could’ve been so much more. this would’ve been 2.5 stars, but the ending was pretty cute, i will admit. i did swoon a bit. the epilogue especially was just :)) 🤍🤍 and i liked them tg in the last chapter. there could have been more scenes with them interacting and more cute moments added to certain scenes, it was very empty, but not a bad book. i should learn to not trust tiktok recs lol
