This is a story about forgiveness and trusting yourself in showing up as your authentic self. Bad-boy hockey defense man, Zanders aka Zee aka EZ, meets our heroine , Stevie, on the team's plane. Stevie is one of 3 flight attendants on the private plane and is unfazed  by the hockey star's charm and antics. Told from a dual POV, the two slowly realize they can't avoid the physical attraction for each other and while also becoming friends.

The story is marketed as a hockey book, but I would say hockey serves as backdrop.  There isn't a lot of hockey on page and would say the smex is not to bad.

I was especially excited to read this story since Stevie is plus size Heroine.
But.  It was all just -- okay. The two aren't especially exciting couple to watch fall in love. The third act breakup was unnecessary. They didn't need to breakup, to find their HEA.

The themes of found family, taking a chance on love and forgiveness were all noble. Overall, it was too long and lots of the side story lines could of happened off page.
