Pamela by Shannon Mayer

4.0

It's been a while since I finished a book in a day but that's what I did today. Granted, it's not a tome, but still, it was really quite compelling. I didn't think it would be, at first. At first, the writing came across as really awkward. I couldn't distinguish between the voices of Pamela and Raven. Things picked up again, as they usually do, when Liam and Rylee entered the story. Those two are definitely not dull.

Anyway, Rylee and Liam have had their turns; this time it was Pamela's turn to run away and find herself. And that she did. Once again, I got stuck in the bathtub because I couldn't put the book down until it was over.

That ending! Oh my goodness, I did not see that coming until just the page before! Call me sentimental, but I got a huge grin on my face, tingles, splashed around a little in excitement. Only one character can do that to me, and... I can't tell you about it because...spoilers! Needless to say, I cannot wait for Book 4...hurry Shannon!
