I know that so many people of TikTok liked this book, but I didn’t. It was teen drama to the max. To which, yes, they are all basically teenagers, but I felt like I was reading a soap opera. Warner and Kenji are around the same age and they aren’t as dramatic, to which they have seen a lot (if not more). So why are they more mellow and everyone else are on emotional drugs? One character, Adam Kent, hated him even MORE this time around. He had no right to say what he did to Juliette, even though he was stressed and almost lost everything, but you just don’t say things like that to another individual. Warner, iconic as always. Kenji, lovable as always. I just wish there wasn’t so much drama. There was absolutely no plot. The ending wasn’t even that good either, because the author passed by it too quickly. Like the book was already long and she didn’t want it too long so she made what should have been the best part the least detailed. I was expecting a ton more, didn’t get it with this one.
Moderate: Cursing
Minor: Gun violence and Death of parent
