Worth it if you are brave enough
As a Stephen King fan I really enjoyed this book. It’s long and as a reader or listener in some places it feels too long but in the end everything fits together so well the length is worth it.
I don’t think it’s my favourite King novel but it is in the top 10. This book is a love letter to childhood and all the beauty and the ugliness that comes with it.
The monster is epic. The characters are well written but the story is the best part as it is by far the richest I have ever come across.
IT is full of glorious details that build the world is Derry in the readers mind and make it feel real. It’s worth a read if you are not intimidated by the length or how scary this book is. And it is plenty scary. The narrator does a spectacular job.
