Sabriel follows our protagonist as she searches for her father, who is an 'Abhorsen' a title that gets passed down from parent to child - they put the dead to rest. Sabriel is a fantasy novel which sees our protagonist entering the Old Kingdom & has to deal with a dangerous threat - also features our protagonist entering the realm of the dead.

For a nearly 30 year old book, this holds up really well! Absolutely adored it. Looking forward to rest of the series.
