This is a multiple POV book and while the story is about saving Ruby King, her voice is one that we hear less often. The tale is not just about ruby king but it is about the way secrets change people and can harm communities. Their are multiple stories being told within this book and every one is fascinating. Their are quite a few predictable moments and the ending is fairly predictable.
