This is one of the best books I have ever read. Perhaps the combination of reading it as winter starts to close in, and the nights get longer, and feeling love for the first time myself, this book was wonderful. Paris is such a place of wonder to me, and I aspire to visit one day.
The descriptions of love were emotional, painful and completely and utterly accurate. The poetic style fitted the story perfectly, and while not much actually happened, it was a perfect representation of an unsure person in love.
The flashbacks were incredible - I fell in love with the character of Lenskyand I cried when I found out that he would literally kill himself for love.
I think everyone should read this book.
