The Couple At Table Six by Daniel Hurst

2.0

There is a waitress who secretly becomes obsessed with the couple at table six and slowly dives her way into getting a conversation out of the couple and later finds out their whereabouts. The waitress named Hannah is simply living in a fantasy and creates false scenarios in her head that lead her to a dark place.

I came across this book blindly, which I have done lately but didn't feel like I would be as disappointed because the story started off so good and engaging. I was taken aback when the story started to sound far from real and my interest just plummeted. I should mention the book has so much potential because it a bit suspenseful but as much as I wanted to keep going, I was fighting a laugh because I found the story rather funny and did not give the thriller vibes I had expected.
