Nation by Terry Pratchett
4.0
A very inventive and creative way to look at the dichotomy of science vs religion, colonialism, and sexism as only Terry Pratchett can do. An enjoyable story that does make one think about the way people think about things. I really enjoyed it. While it is appropriate for younger teens, it may take someone with more knowledge of history to make all the connections, and still the story stands on its own even if one doesn't get all the historical "criticism" or perhaps I should call it satire. I recommend it to all, especially teachers.
