Wow, this has to be one of my favorite romances of the year. And I say that having already read a lot of romances I’ve loved this year. But this was hands down one of the best ones and no doubt is going to be in the top of them.

What a tragic, beautiful love story. When the book starts, it feels impossible that these two characters will work together. But Yulin Kuang so effortlessly brings them together in a way that makes you feel like you’re going to lose your mind if they aren’t together in the end. The way this explored the two of them deal with the same grief and trauma from two very different points of view was such an interesting take on a romance, and I loved every second of it.

If this is her debut, I cannot wait to see what she does next.
