So Dan Calley is a new to me narrator and I'm not loving his voice, so this wasn't an easy listen. What didn't help either was the story from an equally new to me author.
I kinda think I should have DNFed but I stuck it out... why? I wasn't keen on starting a book to read so I kept listening and playing games on my phone.
You see the story was just... basic and cheesy and predictable. There is an overreaching plot throughout the 4 books in the series but it was hardly explored! Everything centered around Oscar's trauma and not in the way of healthy ways to deal with it.
Repetitive and monotone, no interest aroused when it came to the MCs and overall just a very old and tired insta-love, fated mates story.
