Elegie for Eddie by Jacqueline Winspear

4.0

I thought it was better than the last couple of books on the series. Finally, there was some character development for Maisie, even if was frustrating for the reader. (I mean it was frustrating for Maisie, so why would it be frustrating for readers?) It's also a great set up for Maisie to get it out her element in the next book and to take us with her. Together we will meet new people and hopefully talk about new things. And perhaps we'll even miss the side characters we've come to know so well rather than feel weary in their now predictableness.
