I really struggled to get through this book, but I think that was mostly just due to the slow pace. Gladstone's world continues to be interesting, and the characters in this one are facing fascinating moral struggles. I just found myself less engaged than I was for Three Parts Dead, and I couldn't pinpoint exactly why.
