This was fantastic! Extraordinarily difficult at times, but absolutely fantastic.  This novel follows various women as they experience a plague that kills much of the worlds male population. I absolutely tore through the first half of this book. It reminded me of a disaster movie (my fave. niche film genre), and the first few months of the 2020 lockdown. It gave me a strange sort of nostalgia. I found it very interesting to see how this novel mimicked our current situation, despite being written before any of us had heard of coronavirus. Because of this, I would tread lightly with this one if this could be triggering to you.
Highly, highly recommend! First 5🌟 of 2022!
