Goliath by Tom Gauld

4.0

Spare but memorable. Gauld has crafted a clever tale here centered on Goliath largely before his encounter with David from the Bible, and it's interesting to see him portrayed as a helpless pawn manipulated by those in power rather than the imposing bully that I've long thought him to be. The simple drawings truly underscore the melancholy nature of the story.
