Ruthless Creatures by J.T. Geissinger

5.0

This is my first J T Geissinger book and it definitely won't be my last.

Ruthless Creatures follows our MMC Kage and FMC Natalie.

Kage is the dark, broody new neighbour of Natalie, after he buys (in cash) the house next door to her. He is full of secrets. Can he manage to keep from her, the real reason he moved next door to her?

Natalie is still struggling with the disappearance of her fiancé, David. He disappeared 5 years ago. The day before their wedding he had gone for a hike and it is presumed he had an accident, though his body was never found.

It's not long before things start to heat up between Kage and Natalie.

WOW, Kage is sexy and knows how to talk dirty. He pulls no punches when he wants something. He is direct and to the point.

Kage warns Natalie about the world he lives in as second in command to the head of the Russian mafia. He makes it clear, once he has her, he will never let her go.

Kage is vicious when it comes to his enemies, however he is extremely possessive when it comes to Natalie.

I found myself laughing a lot through this book due to a lot of the things Natalie comes out with. I also loved her best friend Sloane. I understand she gets her own book in this series and I can't wait to read about the guy who has to try and tame her.

If you like a mafia romance with a lot of banter, a healthy dose of humor, a dash of suspense, and mystery, then this is definitely one to read.
