This was sweet.  I love that the illustrator chose a mixed-race adult and child.  I love this because it can be used by various types of families, including temporary ones where adults want to show the kids that they deserve kindness, and they are there when they are needed.  This book was a joy.  I think it would be used frequently as both a standard picture book and as a board book.
