Dragon Age: Deception #1 by Nunzio DeFilippis, Christina Weir

4.0

I’ve recently learned that I really enjoy the Dragon Age comics, so naturally I had to give this new one a try. It seemed like a lighter concept on the whole, but we all know how deceptive that can be. Anyway, moving on. This is supposed to be a three part mini-series, meaning that I’m already a third of the way through the series…which is actually a sad thought.
Believe it or not, the series seems to be focused on a pair of con artists. Well, saying they’re a pair implies they’re working together, and they most assuredly don’t want to be doing that (though likely they won’t have a choice, if this goes anything like most Dragon Age plots do).
This has been a fun series, so far. I actually sort of wish that it would be longer – though maybe I’ll change my mind about that once things get farther along. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.
