Savage Hate (ARC)

🌶🌶🌶🌶

Savage Hate is an enemies > lovers Reverse Harem. Now when I saw it was enemies to lovers I was expecting a lot more hate. However, I felt like the enemy's part was barely present. We got quick glimpses into their pasts and the boys were kind of mean to Lennon in the present but it honestly was a very small element and not super present. I did enjoy the fact that Lennon was the bully of the 3 men, you don’t typically see that in a bully type romance.

This book has multiple POV, we get to see into the boys and Lennon’s mind. Which I love, I need a book that allows me to get into a guy's headspace and see his thoughts. All the chapters in this book were pretty short, which allowed me to keep interest and finish it super fast! However, I just felt the guys' chapters lacked substance. Maybe I am just greedy but, the guys' chapters all felt super short.

The SMUT of this book is so good, honestly one of my favorites if I am being honest. First off I love reverse harem books… I EAT THEM UP. This RH did not disappoint. I love how she had individual moments with each of them, but the group element and dynamic still flowed really well. There were so many scenes filled with plenty of amazing SMUT that I plan to re-read time and time again.

The Backstories of Silas and Lennon were a good element for me especially since I think there are so many people in the world that can relate to having neglectful parents. I like the idea of the conflict with Liam, I cannot wait to see it play out in the next two books as well.

The characters. I really enjoy Lennon. I like that as a young kid she coped by bullying others but as an adult she is trying to better her life by going to therapy. I like the reality of love can’t always heal everything and therapy is a very realistic option for those with past trauma. I like the growth we see with Lennon and her ability to accept love now that she has people who want to love her. I love the glimpse into our psychopathic Jude and how emotional he is about Lennon. I love how open and comfortable Damon is, nothing phased him. He is super open about his sexuality and his attraction to Lennon and I appreciate that. I love Silas’ internal battle on whether or not he really should let Lennon in and I love that even when they were all “enemies” they still defended her and protected her.

Overall, I did enjoy this book! The smut is amazing, and I can see the plot building and cannot wait to read the rest of the books to get the full story. It was lacking for me in the enemies department, but the great aspect of the RH made up for it a little bit.

I would recommend it for those that enjoy RH stories. It was a quick and easy RH read, which can be hard to find!
