The Home Edit Life: The No-Guilt Guide to Owning What You Want and Organizing Everything by Clea Shearer, Joanna Teplin
2.0
This was slightly interesting to look through, but their finished products are far too stark for me and my life. And I don't think it is helpful to organize EVERYTHING by rainbow color. I can see that that's fine for some people's book collections, for example, but when someone tells me they turned around any books that didn't fit into their color scheme to show the neutral page edges, I take a biggggg step back. No. Just... no.
I'm glad these systems work for some people but I also wonder how many of them have actually been kept up for more than a week. Especially the kids' rooms! You have got to be kidding me. The art supplies with crayons arranged and split up by color? This would last for negative ten seconds in my house. I'm lucky implementing an "art cart" AT ALL has mostly worked.
