The theme of alienation is very relatable, particularly to the targeted reader I imagine.
The story unfolds slowly, and as a stand alone book that could be on the negative side in this kind of book, but when you take in consideration this volume as a piece of the whole arc it fits snuggly.
Super charming characters and an interesting twist at the end makes this stand out in the crowd, but at times it doesn’t make full use of the medium, where the artwork really can stand out.
