I had a whole review written out that was PERFECT. and then i accidentally closed the tab. i will try to  recapture the magic but will probably fail.

Unseelie is the first YA fantasy novel of its kind to latch onto me. Though i went some time without revisiting it, it was always at the back of my mind
much like a familiar specter
, beckoning me to continue.

It is a lovely adventure story with a depiction and delivery of an autistic main character that at times made me go yes! that's it!

The romance had brilliant levels of chemistry that made it so much fun, and that i can't wait to continue following.
And yes, I am crossing all my limbs that the next book will contain a certain f/f pairing.

Unfortunately, the book does suffer from a repetitive writing style that at times made it feel like somethings were only written to pad out the word count. As well as that, there were some parts where the writing left me confused - characters would go from standing, to sitting, to right in front of another person without warning, and it took me out of the flow of reading as i would sit back and try to work out where everyone was situated in a scene.

Overall, this was a very fun read with writing that made me gasp and laugh at times. very excited for the sequel !!!

-- for no ones benefit but my own, to me Olani is a cross between Cinderella from d20's neverafter series and beau from m9; Raze is pure finnick odair; Isolde is Kit from Willow; Iselia is Wanda Maximoff meets Crazy Jane and the jury is still out on whether or not
