i’m not used to this style of writing but i loved this! kept me engaged and mystery solving right til the end
thoughts while reading
p10: ah, this is where the potential for romance kicks in
p15: oh please tell me it is for cady! i might cry if the rose is for someone else! 😭
p30: i like the imagery lockhart uses
p73: gat really does seem like a bit of an ass, almost like he’s getting it on with whatever girl is right in front of him
p130: what is going on with mirren? if she’s chronically ill that’s really gonna suck
p135
Why are they lying?
p137: cady must be starting to remember something, maybe a vague feeling, cause that is a semi-specific statement to make. and what is going on with aunt carrie?
p139: shoot wait, is mirren pregnant? did she lie about never having sex or…? hmm, technically mirren only said she never had a bf, didn’t say anything about the sex part
p143: shoot is cady just hallucinating johnny? did he really die in summer fifteen?
p190: NO not the dogs 😭
p195: somehow i have a funny feeling that all the liars died apart from cady. that would explain why she’s so traumatised
p201: I FREAKING KNEW IT
Moderate: Animal death, Child death, Death, Mental illness, and Fire/Fire injury
