This one was a sort of continuation of the last book Maigret Defends Himself #63. Featuring both Manuel and Aline who were in the last book. There are some recurring characters but mostly members of the Police and friends of the Maigret's. This is the first time I have noticed continuity in a Maigret novel.
It was a great story and when the reveal was made I felt stupid forgetting about a character. The plot is a very interesting one in which two cases are solved.
