It definitely was a better ending than I was expecting. I was actually very satisfied with the ending.
With that being said, PRAISE THE LORD THIS SERIES HAS COME TO AN END!
I didn't know how much more of it I could take. I was eventually sold the romance with begrudging acceptance when I realized that it went way back before Damen was immortal. I didn't fall in love with any of the characters, though I did have more respect for Ever She found out the truth and stuck to what she knew with a strong head and didn't let herself be swayed by possibly not seeing Damen again. I'm proud of her. She's really come a long way.
The series, overall, has way more books than it needs. There's no need to drag stuff out. I will probably never feel the urge to read this series again and I can't wait to get them back to my friend. But for the record it did all wrap up very nicely. That is all.

when she chose her soul's immortality rather than physical immortality whether her boyfriend or soul-mate or whatever would not.The series, overall, has way more books than it needs.
