this is a veeeeeeeeeeeeery fast paced fun thriller book. Every chapter ended with a mini cliffhanger so you wanted to keep reading to find out then you realize the entire plot was just meh. I wish I liked it more than I do though. The cable car could have been completely scrapped and the other two storylines could have been more focused on to make more developed characters and the plot twist could have been just as effective. The ending was quite fitting and satisfactory for the themes of the book

I do think the time lapse pov was quite unique and made it an interesting read. once again didn't really care for the characters also felt very....meh about carter/daniel/whatever else he is being the "main character". I didn't really like having all the side characters killed off but with daniel also dying I didn't mind it that much. but it was also like.....all that for what??!?!?! I wish they didn't add eva's chapter as the very last one it could have been somewhere else??? kinda ruined the mood for me
