This scene broke me.
This book focuses on the looming war and preparation for it. We are introduced to new monsters, in depth back stories on characters, and lots of new characters are brought in. I loved seeing the connection between Cassian and Nesta in this book. Nesta cutting off the kings head was very Uhtred of Bebbanberg and I love it!
