Christmas in Paris! Dual POV, first person, forced proximity, stand-alone book in “series” -
This was the best book to read leading up to Christmas. The banter between Madi and Rémy and the way their individual personalities mingled were absolute perfection. Additionally, the author’s style of writing is so immersive that I actually felt like I was right there in Paris as Madi worked to overcome her fears and Rémy struggled to maintain a professional relationship as a stand-in host.
It was the perfect book length, had a great ending, and had just the right amount of French thrown in. The author even added pop culture references which made the characters that much more relatable (Harry Potter, Friends, etc). J’adore!
