Mori and River! As I’ve been going through this series, I’ve been waiting for this one, and they don’t disappoint. I loved their dynamic - not so much grumpy/sunshine as grumpy/chaos gremlin pretending to be sunshine, but River was a delight through and through. The plot is relatively thin - it’s clear this was a bridging book for the larger series, but that’s okay - we’re here for the relationship, and that delivers.
