i love ishiguro’s writing style and this book reminded me a lot of never let me go, especially with visiting old friends. i loved the romance part and at times it definitely felt like a comedy of manners, alike jane austen or oscar wilde. miss kenton was my favorite but i really love stevens and sympathize with him, fuck lord darlington though!!
