Super cute art style, entertaining quest storyline, lovable characters, and a hearty helping of magical lore. Really enjoyed this read as an adult, but know I would have been absolutely ham for it as a kid.
Added bonus: some of the best depictions of anxiety that I’ve ever seen, regardless of target audience. Love that the author made it feel approachable and understandable for readers new to the concept, while also sliding in some subtle “if you know, you know” details that will really resonate for readers feeling seen by that rep.
Also added bonus: cat.
Will definitely be continuing the series.
