Shattered Veil: A Forbidden Relationship Contemporary Romantic Suspense Novel by Eliza Modiste

I've enjoyed the entire Veiled series so far but book 3, Shattered Veil, really had me in a choke hold. Eliza Modiste knows how to write a damn good romantic suspense with all the mystery, spice and found family you want from a romance book.
The trauma bond was written exceptionally well and what came from it was beautiful. James and Cassie were both such strong and independent characters but that didn't take away from the bond they had with each other and their friend/family group. The way they all support each other is remarkable.
I love how all the characters are written into each story but it doesn't take away from the main characters and their journey.
I hope there's even more greatness to come from this series.
