Two Girls of Gettysburg by Lisa M. Klein

3.0

I was looking for a possible companion book to The Killer Angels - the girls are having a hard time with all the continuous action. This might be exactly what I was looking for. It gives a good picture of Gettysburg before the battle, the indecision felt by the people, along with the hardships that were a part of the war. It also offers a lot of character development by both Lizzie and Rosanna, along with the romance necessary to hook girls into a book about the Civil War.
