Center of Gravity by K.K. Allen

5.0

Oh my goodness! Lex and Theo's romance is a deliciously sexy and angsty slow burn that had me so invested in their story that I was glued to my Kindle. K.K. Allen's writing is so exquisite and captivating. There were several moments where I had to set my Kindle down and just fan-girl for a minute before jumping back in.

I will admit that going into this book, I was a little worried about connecting with the dance scenes and their emotion because it is so different than watching them in a movie or TV show. All of my curiosity and worry and expectations were needless and blown away by K.K. Allen's writing. Her words alone made me feel like I had a front row seat to every dance number in Center of Gravity and the emotion from the dancers poured off of the pages. The way she made this story interactive for readers is GENIUS! It really brought the dancing to life and was a pleasant bonus to K.K. Allen's writing.

The characters and emotions in COG are the main reason why it is not only my new favorite K.K. Allen book, but it is also my current top read of 2018!
