A very sweet, very well done short novel romance about Logan and Josh, who we get to see fall in love in this.
This was actually more romance heavy than sex heavy, which I'm perfectly fine with. When we did get sex, their romantic connection was already so good that I very much enjoyed their sex scenes.
I don't remember if we see them in any of the full length books in this, I'd have to reread them. But these two meet and fall in love before the events of even Nate and Eric's book, so maybe they were in the background just being happy and in love together. Their epilogue takes place during when I think Nate and Eric hooked up in an office in the building this...gala or something like that was taking place. So the end of the story is when Nate and Eric are in the middle of theirs.
Logan is a more studious type. Kind of a nerd, but not that much of one. He's just very good at academics. He's had a grudge toward Josh, a lacrosse Jock, ever since the year before when they were in a group project and Josh bailed on doing his part for the group project, and Logan had to stay up for 8 hours doing Josh's part.
That is an understandable thing to be annoyed and angry about, even a year later. That's just not cool. But Josh really is a kind guy, and he owns up to his screw up, apologizing and admitting his wrongdoing, and trying to make up for it.
So Logan ends up tutoring Josh, who always brings burgers to their sessions, and is generally such a nice person that Logan finds himself melting around him, being unable to hold onto his grudge.
Josh genuinely feels bad about bailing on the group project, and works to make up for it, and is working on being a better student.
These two were just so cute together, I loved this. My only real gripe is wishing it had been longer, because I adored these two together so much. They deserved more story haha.
But for its length, this was very good and enjoyable, and these two worked very well together. A definite win overall for me.
Can't wait for more works from this wonderful author ❤️
