The Savior's Book Café Story in Another World (Manga) Vol. 1 by Reiko Sakurada, Oumiya, Kyouka Izumi

3.0

I have been wanting to try to read a Japanese Manga and when I heard the premise of this one I thought it was the perfect to try. A single woman in her early 30's is approached by a God and is told that she needs to be brought to another world as a Savior. She really just wants to stay home and read books. In compromise, she agrees to go but wants to just run a bookstore and cafe and not do any of the other "Savior" stuff.  It was quick and fun. It is the first book in a much longer series. I likely won't continue reading because I just don't think I enjoy this genre enough. But if you know someone who loves Manga and is a bookworm, this could be a fun series to get them started with!
