Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes by Jonathan Auxier

I actually came across this book when I was 10 (same as Peter) and 7 years later I still remembered almost everything and yet the story still managed to entertain me to no end.
I loved it then, I love it now and I have no doubt that I will love it later on too. The characters are just so rich and unique and crazy. Take Good Ol' Fredrick the talking fish for example. It's brilliant!
At the time ofcourse the book also enveloped me in it's mystery but I believe that it could have done the same now had I not remembered so much.
This book has, action, heart warming moments, talking fish that call you "mate" and every other thing you can imagine.
