The Country of the Blind: A Memoir at the End of Sight by Andrew Leland

Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
It's a decent book but was marketed as a memoir. While there are personal anecdotes sprinkled throughout the book, over all it feels more like a collection of research the author has done on blindness/blind culture. DNF'd the book when I realized the personal stories/memoir bits I had been looking for going into the book were becoming fewer and further between.
