I don’t mind the age gap, but I found the focus on the fact that the MMC had been an uncle to the FMC her entire life disturbing. In particular, the flashbacks to their relationship throughout her childhood (which I think were supposed to be sweet and show there was nothing sexual going on before she turned 18) made me deeply uncomfortable. The author really drives home that there was no coercion, but the power dynamic between the characters still feels off balance and the story doesn’t redeem itself by the end.
