A festive delight that was sweet, steamy, and beautifully written. I love a more reserved hero who goes completely undone for the right heroine and Gavin is absolutely that. Emilia is a wonderfully sweet and sunny heroine, and her optimism feels all the more hard won for the fact that she's lived such a precarious life. Her yearning for a home of her own is palpable and wonderfully done. I loved their tenderness and chemistry together. This is a short novella but builds their relationship so effectively and it was an absolute treat to return to this world. (And get a few little glimpses of Cora and Nate as a married couple.)
