Burden by K.C. Wells

5.0

After testifying against Richards, Jesse has been abandoned by his family and left with nothing. He is left to pick up the pieces the only way he knows how, by selling his body. As much as he hates it he sees no way out. Running into Randy is a blessing and a curse because Jesse wants him but he knows Randy is straight, and even if he wasn't they could never be together since Randy is a Vice cop.
Randy has always been straight, but after his time undercover he is questioning his sexuality. There is just something about Jesse that has him tied in knots. After meeting up as friends and hanging out Randy is sure he wants more but he is afraid that Jesse is still hooking. Once they come together Randy knows what he wants but he is going to have to work to get it because Jesse believes he's not good enough for Randy.
If you loved Debt, or any of KC Wells' books, then you are going to love Burden too! The characters are well developed and personable and the story is superbly written. I was drawn in from the first page and held captive til the very end!
